I'm going to silently disapprove of your behavior while still showing that I do care for you, sunshine. Frankly, his finger is a rather low scale on how badly Acedia can fuck himself up, so she's pretty alright with that being all there is.
Hahaha, they aren't together. They are just knitted back until someone applies pressure to the situation. She can identify half of the team as an explosion waiting to happen right now. While she understands that is how they communicate, it also puts pressure on the rest of the team. Right now, she doesn't really know what to do with herself or much of anything . . . She reached her hand out to Acedia as the means of giving her a reason to stay, but it isn't necessarily fair to put that burden on him, either.
So, yeah, she is just full of unsures and can't figure out how to move in this sort of situation.
HE'S PRETTY . . . unsure . . . he kind of wants to cut loose from Ruby and run off into crazyland pretty hard. But he's also aware of his own crazy in a way he normally isn't and is instead working on just. Holding it together. But. Isn't sure what to do. And also doesn't think he's the best person for CC to make offers to in general. So it's just like ?_? and D| all together.
Bunny is off his goddamn rocker and should stay away from Oz. I mean, she can appreciate him and his madness from a distance. She is a bit of a psychopath-whisperer and she knows that Oz practically baits him with his way of approaching situations, so she doesn't place all the blame on him . . . But that doesn't mean she has to be any more receptive to him. So, yeah, it's a solid neutral that is hampered by the situation as it is.
Cub was very cute! She appreciates that he is able to persist in that sense of optimism and he wasn't responsible for the situation as it occurred. (See, C.C. is a sane and logical witch.) But she will teach him a lesson if he crosses her path again.
Drift things C.C. is okay and he would cook pizza for her again 8|aaa After night 127 he was forced to acknowledge that teams are not borgs, so he really only resents Gokudera and Mukuro for things. He was a bit annoyed by her during the cohabit game, but sighsigh whatever, cooking. He hasn't really considered her in terms of Oz at all.
Cub thinks C.C. is kind of pushy but! She means well! And she cares about her teammate! So, it's obviously not a bad kind of pushy. He was really glad that she made sure that Oz was letting Cub do things because Oz wanted it, not because Cub wanted to, so he was thankful for her intervention there! And he was glad that she let him do things in the end. Overall, GOOD IMPRESSION would definitely talk to again, nice lady '^'
C.C.'s favorite/least favorite things about Aather right now?
Favorite is that Lelouch isn't alone and isolated by the power of Geass in Aather. He's getting a chance to live the more loving and sedate lifestyle that he was infinitely more suited for before he became involved in his father's war and so on. She loves him kind of a lot, so his happiness truly means a lot to her.
Least favorite is . . . Hmm, she can't disappear. C.C. is a witch that operates on slinking into the shadows and not being seen as easily as she is in Aather. So, it's really difficult to put her into social environments and not have it blow-up in her face. She's trying to level up to handle it, but there's only so much a witch can do.
Mainly for balance! Drift is pretty settled in the types of games/threads/interactions/etcccc he's good for, so I was hoping to get someone who would let me experience the other side of things! And just character-wise, Drift is very volatile and his development often goes very rapidly; contrarily, Cub remains similar at his core and his changes are a lot more steady. And, of course, Drift is on one end of the spectrum with tsuntsun pessimism, and Cub is on the other with deredere optimism. Since they're two extremes I do miss some things that might be offered by having a character closer to the middle, but it's been working out well so far!
Umineko I adore! Probably my least favorite part is the way the writer writes, since it can be kind of tedious to get into at times, but otherwise it's fab! It's a game where the plot services the characters, which I really enjoy, so much of it is devoted to character development and interaction, as well as how those characters contribute to the overall story. Umineko's mysteries are also fun to just talk about because even if you have no idea what's going on, the knicks and knacks are really cool to spot out and discuss. I AM BAD AT SPECIFICS but there you go!
Tell me about C.C.! I'm canon blind for CG and she's different than I was lead to believe back in the day (granted, not that I knew very much, even then).
Well, I am curious as to what you believed she was like before now . . .
Gosh, um, how to describe C.C. . . Well, she appears as this very enigmatic though intuitive and eccentric character that does whatever she pleases whenever she pleases. She foils very nicely with the philosophical and social conflicts that the series brings up as well as serving as a sort of balance to Lelouch and Suzaku. At heart, she really is a sweet girl who wanted simply to be loved and to love others, but that wish ended up getting distorted as she became involved with Geass and cursed her fate to lead an immortal and unending life, facing the hatred and misunderstanding of humans while still loving them all the while. There's a lot of issues and thoughts in play with her, both externally and internally, so she really is a very interesting character to watch and play. Now, I'm going to shamelessly link what I think describes her best: Go go monologue on the root of happiness!
Leo is a low burn of "may need to be killed in a very quiet place at some point". Other than that, Vincent doesn't really have anyone on his strike list. All murder becomes an event in Aather, so he has to carefully gauge when and where to resort to that sort of public display.
Does Yuri think he does . . . ? Also, thoughts after a night of drinking away your problems, Yuri? Besides, you know . . . Hangover and regrets.
No not particularly. He is of a mind with Vincent; that was a lot of attention.
Still in a terrible mood because Yuri NEVER gets to drink away his problems. He had to shut it down after Judy approached him and probably fell asleep soon after she left and woke up the next morning feeling like shit.
Vincent's thoughts about that Flynn/Yuri/Vincent thread?
Flynn will never be able to draw Yuri away; Vincent has long accepted that. It is the only use that Vincent had for him, so with that out of the window . . . Vincent really views him as a non-issue! He's pretty damn worthless, which is why casually flipping him the bird like he did in that thread when he visited Iolite and all threads since doesn't really mean much. As far as what Flynn is doing . . . He knows that it's unreasonable! It doesn't solve the heart of the problem and is simply a way of putting a band-aid over the issue at hand. If he does gain power to it, then Vincent will just end up having a week long nap . . . Oh no, oh no?!
And, yeah, Vincent knew that people would be out to kill him with this spectacle, so if Flynn really wanted to play dark avenger and kill Vincent for his own self-satisfaction in the name of justice . . . Well, Vincent's opinion of him couldn't go any lower, but he will let him put Yuri in that place if he really wants to?! I don't know why you ever liked him, baby. He is no good for you . . . S-Says the abusive one. Really, in this whole situation, the only one who he won't allow to draw blood from him is Oz, because that opens a whole other can of worms that Vincent would maim someone over.
How fucked up would Yuri be if anyone killed Vincent? I mean, really now.
Depends on how and why and who it happened! If Turq killed Vincent Yuri would be mostly zen with it but he would have to do that thing where he really just wants to just rush over and hug Vincent or make him feel better and doesn't because he knows that is not necessarily what VINCENT wants or needs.
If someone else killed Vincent Yuri would be pissed as hell :'D Probably not enough to shank someone but VERY VERY PISSED OFF.
If Flynn kills Vincent Yuri would. That would fuck him up. Potentially significantly.
When Vincent offered to Flynn to let him maim him was he AWARE of how much that would fuck Yuri up?
In a heartbeat. It would irrevocably fuck up his relationship with Flynn, put Yuri in a hard place with Vincent, and destroy Yuri in no small way. Am I getting in the ballpark? Vincent is very good about seeing the natural logical outcomes of his actions, but . . . Well, if Flynn is really so hellbent against him, then he better find his own solution to the situation or it will become another situation like Raven once again. Vincent had more faith in Flynn being able to drive a wedge between them, but Vincent seems to be a bigger draw for Yuri which makes no sense, but let's follow the path as is set before us . . . Something has to give, really. Yuri needs to realize the situation he is in and react in a sane, though painful, manner, or he needs to cut the cord with Flynn before it becomes a really overblown and overdrawn issue that will only drag out into something even more painful. Or Flynn could step up to the plate and try to work it out; that is also an option. But Vincent will not budge; he is not the one that will be changing his stance at all.
Frankly, Vincent doesn't like either of those options, though. He doesn't want to isolate Yuri, but he doesn't want Yuri to wander around among people who won't see the intricacies of his personality and underneath the front that he puts forward. It is so frustrating to be the person that could give Yuri what he wants while still caught up in his brother, knowing he doesn't have a chance in hell with Yuri . . . And he can't toss him to the side that someone else will be able to take care of him. If only, if only! Also, Vincent be saddled with extreme levels of guilt in Yuri's general direction if it truly came about as he he sees it. I mean, he would bullshit that it means nothing to him to everyone, including Yuri, but we all know where that path leads with Vincent . . . The situation is a mess. Vincent doesn't like it.
I mean that's not to say Turq wouldn't kill him, I think, in a void where they didn't have to worry about fallout -- obviously I can't actually speak for the rest of Turq but Sakura certainly wouldn't be like 'oh no murder is bad'. And that conversation about throwing Vicent's unconscious body into the whirlpool was definitely at least 80% serious...
We're just discussing hypotheticals that aren't necessarily going to or ever will pass when it comes to Turquoise or anyone else for that matter. No need to worry~.
Vincent would like to know about what Zwei is up to right now! He's in an information black hole at the moment, but he really isn't sure what her reaction was going to be in the end, besides retreating from the surface for a time. So, yes, he's curious to see where she's bouncing around to . . . He's pretty confident that he can't use her, but that doesn't mean it's not amusing to have someone else causing trouble to cover for his more under-handed schemes. :3c
Aside from knocking off Drift, has she been doing anything?
Just the typical listening in on things and watching from inside. TURQUOISE STILL HAS HER CURIOUS. She kiiiind of wants to get in their favor because maybe they'll fall for it and that'll give her a little leeway to do what she wants. Not that I imagine she will, but Zwei thinks she can!
Also, it would make Echo miserable if Zwei could earn Turquoise's trust. Echo's suffering would be pretty nice, especially since she's been getting around to bottling everything lately. Might as well earn some Turq trust, use it to smash Echo's hopes, and consequentially take over the body... and whatever comes after that. She's not 100% positive on that yet.
He took a lot of naps, did some sewing, made a few choice give-no-fucks moves, cuddled all up over Obsidian, and had a shibari lesson with Yuri and Masked Lady. So, overall . . . Not a whole hell of a lot? He's only just starting to wander away from Iolite from his imposed house arrest as no one seems to be coming to the door to draw blood from him. Clearly, he has to go out to them . . . Sigh~.
Yeah, how is Echo doing? She seems to be out and about like normal, but . . .
She's still a little stressed—just nowhere near as much as before, thank god. Bottling feelings and pushing complicated thoughts aside? Best solution. On the brighter side of things, Echo talked/ranted about her feelings on the previous happenings to Turquoise AND people outside of Turquoise encouraged it from her. In fact, the people outside of Turquoise (mmmostly Emil and Lloyd, I think) helped her to accept that she's Not Okay and that it's okay to... not be okay! As a result, she started getting back up on her feet! Well, on one foot. She's still confused and sitting around, waiting to see what happens.
However, most recently, Breeze put Echo under the impression that it was impossible for Three to get rid of Zwei—at least, on her own—and that crushed her. She's... not sure what to do about that! GETTING RID OF ZWEI WAS KIND OF A PRIORITY FOR ECHO, THIS IS REALLY DISAPPOINTING.
Is there something that nobody's asked you yet that you REALLY WANT TO TALK ABOUT? Because you should talk at me about that while I think of a proper question for you.
So, god, I really wish canon would get back to Vincent, so I can see how exactly he breaks down to Gilbert which I think is what has to happen?! And I really hope he doesn't get redeemed, but that's another story . . . But, yeah, I keep playing him on this one-way track which is pretty canon and what not. Honestly, Gilbert is the only one who will be able to have a say when it comes to Vincent changing his goals like he was starting to do before lol Lacie lol Jack. In Aather, I feel like he should have cracked . . . But that abyss (lol!) of self-hatred and guilt hasn't even come close to being touched, because Vincent controls information as well as himself so well. So, I'm just very unsure of when, where, and how he should crack, but I feel half-and-half confident that he hasn't had that crack yet, though I am lining up the memories to make it more feasible.
. . . This will all be null when Leo rats Vincent out, and Vincent completely loses it in his general direction. But, yes, it is one-hundred percent on my mind!
i like your use of abyss there. :') Yeah, I like the past/history stuff, but I really want canon to get back to the present because of things like this!
OKAY tell me what is going on with Vincent and Leo, I am dying to know.
We're going to be shafted into more history until like August, I bet. I'm jinxing it, but I feel like this is going to be the way of it. At least, it gives me hope that the ending will be a completely tight and finished product as she is giving so much rounding out in all areas. Also, my hopes are up that Vincent and Gilbert will show up as pawns in the Sablier history, so we can see what they were like from the adult end of things . . . ♥
Vincent and Leo . . . Hell, I don't remember what everyone does or doesn't know. So, yeah, Leo remembered declaring his intentions as the future Glen Baskerville to Oz, then he promptly went and told everyone about it. Vincent had a minor panic attack and kind of stabbed him a little. :') Afterwards, he filled Leo in on the situation while gently guiding him on how to act in this and that situation . . . Then, we had our great plot! Which did not involve Leo at all, yesss! As for right now, Vincent told Leo what he did and is half-blackmailing half-guilt-tripping the boy into following along with his whims. Leo isn't particularly pleased, but . . . Well, if you want something done and Vincent Nightray offers to be on your side of the game, you're going to kind of jump on that offer.
Oh, yeah, inserting thiiis: Vincent shared the game-changing memory of where he declared his wish to be erased from existence with Leo, so that he could control when and where that reveal comes about, considering how Leo responded to information he wasn't warned about before. So, Leo does hold some control over Vincent in as much as you can have a shock collar on a pit bull and hope it doesn't mangle you anyway. Vincent has known for REAL-TIME MONTHS that Leo could very well become his worst enemy in Aather, so he is playing the game very, very smoothly with the boy. The shit that he will do to trap him hasn't even begun, really.
I do love how Mochizuki's fleshing it out, I will soooo give her that. All of the shiny details...
Yes and no? She hopes for freedom, but she thinks it's kind of blear. Like I said, she's still unsure why exactly Vincent killed Zwei—the only thing Echo can think of is that Zwei was caught and THAT pissed Vincent off?? Because her killing Oz didn't seem too out of the ballpark. That said, she's not sure of what Vincent intends to do with either of them, whether he's going to take it out on Echo or he has something else up his sleeve orrrrr... god knows what, she can't predict the man. BUT HE MUST BE FURIOUS AT ZWEI! AND HER, BY ASSOCIATION because why not, Vincent seems to do what he wants. Fuck if she wants to go near that though... she's upset at Vincent, and she wants her freedom, but that can wait just a little longer since he hasn't tried to get back at her yet and he seems to be in some trouble of his own. Let's take advantage of this spare time to get bearings in order, yes.
Oh, and, haha, one of the reasons she wants rid of Zwei is because she believes it will cut ties to Vincent completely. I'M NOT A DOLL WHO HARNESSES YOUR BELOVED PSYCHO ANYMORE, LEAVE ME ALONE! I think I told you a while back that she wanted to rebel!!1, but then Vincent happened and she lost her courage on the spot and. Yeah. Facing the real deal was just something she was not prepared for.
Who is more of a problem for Vincent, Echo or Zwei? /more selfish questions gawd
Girls get low-cut tanks with half-sleeve crop jackets to go over them, then it would be paired with mini-skirts or short shorts and boots of preferred length . . . Throw a light sash in there for some swish, though she would end up taking it off after ten minutes herself.
He has been an EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER but not the kind of emotional rollercoaster that launches you off the high parts and smashes you into the ground at the low parts, which is to say much less of one than he is in canon. SAFEST PARK IN THE COUNTRY AWARD?? With some downtime to relax he'd probably mellow out to smooth sailing but darkness week is upon us so ha ha. We shall see what occurs.
If C.C. and Vincent were locked in a room together for 24 hours what would happen.
Murder . . . Or absolute silence . . . I'm not sure?!
Vincent hates Ruby on principle, and C.C. would not be impressed with his behavior after she stopped laughing over the novelty of it. Really, Vincent could probably fake a nap for most of the time, while C.C. would occupy herself doing god knows what but she has plenty of experience with entertaining herself while stuck in Lelouch's room.
This is awful, but do you have anyone other than Hazel? If not, any ideas?
Uhhh . . . Tavros is a nice solid weight for C.C. right now! She knows that she may be deluding herself, but she kind of hopes that the team would be less of a team to Tavros if she wasn't there. In that way, she is sort of using him along with a few other anchors to keep herself on Ruby without resorting to giving-zero-fucks mode. Really, it's a struggle when she can't do much for Tavros without potentially making him too dependent or feeling like she's overstepping her self-imposed boundaries, but she is content to sit back and watch over him from afar. He is truly one of the nicest things about Ruby, and she would cut someone for fucking with him in Aather.
Reverse! Also, is Tavros feeling better after memory dump?
Tavros loves C.C.! Like, to the point where he would be really sad if C.C. were to leave the team in anyyyy way. She is a very good thing for him, I think, and-- while she confuses him so much sometimes, he appreciates the advice she gives him and there have been times where that advice helps him a lot. '-'b Also, he... really just likes to relax and have fun with C.C., too-- and when he's in a bad mood over something, C.C. is usually a big help. THE SPLASHWAR WAS GOOD FOR HIM. He also realizes that C.C. is trying to support the team in her own way, too, and he really appreciates that.
Also, he is feeling better! Kind of! The universe issue is better because he talked to Yukio about it and that makes him feel better because he realized that he could stay in Aather and make that his home instead since it's not like he has anything there. AS FOR THE LUSUS THING. . . he's still stuck on I AM A TERRIBLE PERSON AND I GREATLY DISLIKE MYSELF because he's... not willing to fork over the details regarding that, since he was the one that killed his lusus.
Also overall the wings were a really good distraction from bad memories.
UM. . . what does C.C. think of the Ruby situation as it is now?
More or less . . . For her, she's keeping a keener eye on Mukuro, Tavros, and Shade as they are all the ones that she can do something about if things start to go south. That is, she can keep Shade from going on a murdering spree, lovingly and sternly sit on Mukuro when he does finally snap, and make sure that Tavros isn't left on the wayside if anyone starts to flip out. But, yeah, she's mostly really at a loss as to where to go with this mess . . . We have too many feels, far too many feels.
What about Tavros? What are your team feels, boy wonder?
Hahahahahaha!! . . . I mean, she is a very nice girl that is not easily lead around and put at ease by untrustworthy people. Naoto isn't completely clueless to Vincent by far, but she isn't too difficult to pull the wool over, either. He's too good at the game, or she doesn't realize it yet—Who knows! He doesn't really have any pressing interest or use for her, though. Vincent is content to wander along, being a good guy, until something presents itself. Even if it doesn't, there's nothing wrong with playing that role every now and then to keep himself from getting rusty.
I can't stop watching your icon enough to write . . . Uhhh . . . !!
Well, Vincent really expected better of Jaina. He appreciated getting a slight peek into another view of the situation that needs to be taken into account, but he also doesn't appreciate that she doesn't seem to think he isn't old/wise enough to realize how to behave in certain situations. Yes, he is an unrepentant killer and those with a moral compass would find it bad, but that doesn't necessarily presume that he doesn't know how to behave in such a situation if he's so familiar with it. She did give him the idea to come up with a solution that may work to mend over the true heart of the issue; that is, Turquoise's loss of security. Also, the fact that he doesn't feel remorse in what he did . . . He expected her, along with Flynn, to realize that the usual ways of slapping people on the wrists for that were going to break down. There isn't a way to make him regret or feel remorse for his actions, though she did sort of hit the nail on the head by saying just lock him away forever, rather than for a period of time. Kudos on that point.
So, yes, she's serving her usual purpose of bringing another facet to light with the situation, but he's also very underwhelmed by her reaction. Jaina has known the people on her team for a very long time, so as annoyed/disappointed/frustrated/etc as she may be, she should also know how to work within that. Vincent knows she has the power to be diplomatic and rational when she chooses to be.
Anyway, that's a yes and a yes, though she's still spending plenty of time out of the cabin. She was going to try being more restrained and diplomatic but having the killer promptly butt in laughing kind of knifed that. Whether he knows how to behave in certain situations honestly is not really crossing her mind -- she just wrote the conversation off as a pointless game for Vincent, especially again with the tone he set from the start. She didn't see much point in being diplomatic with him in that moment. She figured he would troll her no matter what she said. XD

Hahaha, they aren't together. They are just knitted back until someone applies pressure to the situation. She can identify half of the team as an explosion waiting to happen right now. While she understands that is how they communicate, it also puts pressure on the rest of the team. Right now, she doesn't really know what to do with herself or much of anything . . . So, yeah, she is just full of unsures and can't figure out how to move in this sort of situation.

. . . This will all be null when Leo rats Vincent out, and Vincent completely loses it in his general direction. But, yes, it is one-hundred percent on my mind!

OKAY tell me what is going on with Vincent and Leo, I am dying to know.

Does Echo think she has has any hope of freedom?
no subject

Boys get t-shirts and jeans. Whatever.
How's Hazel been doing?

If C.C. and Vincent were locked in a room together for 24 hours what would happen.
no subject
Vincent hates Ruby on principle, and C.C. would not be impressed with his behavior after she stopped laughing over the novelty of it. Really, Vincent could probably fake a nap for most of the time, while C.C. would occupy herself doing god knows what but she has plenty of experience with entertaining herself while stuck in Lelouch's room.
This is awful, but do you have anyone other than Hazel? If not, any ideas?

Reverse! Also, is Tavros feeling better after memory dump?
no subject

What about Tavros? What are your team feels, boy wonder?

Has Jaina cooled down? And did she come back?
no subject
Anyway, that's a yes and a yes, though she's still spending plenty of time out of the cabin. She was going to try being more restrained and diplomatic but having the killer promptly butt in laughing kind of knifed that. Whether he knows how to behave in certain situations honestly is not really crossing her mind -- she just wrote the conversation off as a pointless game for Vincent, especially again with the tone he set from the start. She didn't see much point in being diplomatic with him in that moment. She figured he would troll her no matter what she said. XD
