We're going to be shafted into more history until like August, I bet. I'm jinxing it, but I feel like this is going to be the way of it. At least, it gives me hope that the ending will be a completely tight and finished product as she is giving so much rounding out in all areas. Also, my hopes are up that Vincent and Gilbert will show up as pawns in the Sablier history, so we can see what they were like from the adult end of things . . . ♥
Vincent and Leo . . . Hell, I don't remember what everyone does or doesn't know. So, yeah, Leo remembered declaring his intentions as the future Glen Baskerville to Oz, then he promptly went and told everyone about it. Vincent had a minor panic attack and kind of stabbed him a little. :') Afterwards, he filled Leo in on the situation while gently guiding him on how to act in this and that situation . . . Then, we had our great plot! Which did not involve Leo at all, yesss! As for right now, Vincent told Leo what he did and is half-blackmailing half-guilt-tripping the boy into following along with his whims. Leo isn't particularly pleased, but . . . Well, if you want something done and Vincent Nightray offers to be on your side of the game, you're going to kind of jump on that offer.
Oh, yeah, inserting thiiis: Vincent shared the game-changing memory of where he declared his wish to be erased from existence with Leo, so that he could control when and where that reveal comes about, considering how Leo responded to information he wasn't warned about before. So, Leo does hold some control over Vincent in as much as you can have a shock collar on a pit bull and hope it doesn't mangle you anyway. Vincent has known for REAL-TIME MONTHS that Leo could very well become his worst enemy in Aather, so he is playing the game very, very smoothly with the boy. The shit that he will do to trap him hasn't even begun, really.
