Obsidian is an emotional creature with a different breed of logic. He's fiercely loyal and should be treated in a special manner.
Jaina is headstrong and determined, but not without the means to bend. She's come a long way in dealing with people and is definitely a voice of reason within the team.
Neji is the second, but strongest, voice of absolute reason that isn't tied with emotions. He keeps to himself and is best left that way.
Spitfire doesn't think before he speaks, but he can charm people with his outgoing personality.
Hibari is an animal and should be given no regard.
Kyouko is a conflicted girl who desires good but ends up struggling in less than approved ways with the world. Her words rarely say what she means.
I mean, in all honesty, Vincent hasn't changed his regard of the individuals too much, but he has gotten comfortable with them and their dynamic as a whole. They have a rhythm and balance of their own, which may cause conflicts between them, but it's better than having no steadying force and constantly shutting down on each other. Really, he's rather fond of Iolite as a pacifying force in his life.
What is Jaina's hopes for the team nowadays? What does she want and what could she do without?
That's been pertinent to several of her interactions lately. While she spends a great deal of time with Tiger's Eye and agreed with Spitfire recently that she's jealous of their unity, she's also acknowledged to Neji that it's impossible for Iolite to turn out that way -- and actually she doesn't want that for Iolite.
She basically wants the team to more prone to reason, less prone to an apparent tendency to turn on itself over issues that the others couldn't be aware was an issue because the team fails at communication. Friends or family? Heck no. But as much as she bitches about the inefficiency of debate scenes for how the Jedi should act on an issue, she thinks it would work for Iolite. Surely they could come to good reasonable conclusions! And less arbitrarily...dangerous. She can handle doing some horrible things to people if it can be justified. The tendency to stand aside and watch in-team conflicts play out instead of trying to alleviate problems boggles her as well -- she could understand not being interested in non-Iolite problems, but this strikes her as unfortunate.
I guess the sudden danger is the primary thing that she could do without. Most days, she finds her own team a greater danger than anyone else in aather. It's especially concerning to her that they tend to turn on each other during games, which to her should logically be when the team should come together over a common goal.
Does Vincent have any particular goals right now? Projects? Miscellaneous things he's just interested in? XD
Well, he needs to find Three's head . . . It's part of his ongoing quest to erase himself, but that has been slow brewing for a long, long time. He also has to take another dive into Three's heart that he is less than pumped for. I mean, he loves the scenery, but he's at the point where he'd rather not mess with her and he doesn't know how to fix . . . 8|
Another project would be getting Flynn to take Yuri off his hands. He is sort of wobbling on this, but it was in his intention to get his hands free and Yuri at a better place that wasn't with him for this. However, considering Yuri is going to end up missing about eighty percent of his memories in Aather if Vincent is successful with his former plan . . . He is okay with letting Yuri hang around, so idk my bff Vincent.
Also, he is mediating the fight between Obsidian and Kyouko. Rather, he knows Kyouko was off her mark, so he's dealing with that. Then, he doesn't like the idea of Obsidian gaining autonomy or, at least, the means of going against what he wants to do. He understands Obsidian's reasons, but he also wants him to be okay with the team being a little nuthouse and these incidents sort of . . . Happening. It's in his best interest. :x
He's flipping around the bible, because Kyouko said he should read. And that is a laugh a minute, too.
Back at you! How does Jaina feel about the brother situation now? More or less resolved, different plan?
As far as projects, Jaina's abandoning the idea of the roof modification because...it was always just an unnecessary comfort project and she doesn't really care anymore...so instead she's working on designs to see if she can make a low-tech dishwasher.
Regarding the brother situation, she's moooostly in the same place as before. She remembers that she's failed to kill him, so she's more certain that if Jacen comes back in aather they'll inevitably end up in conflict and that she'll be outmatched. She's working on finally getting her own weapons now, but her current plan is tiptoe around the issue and wait to act until he shows some sign that he knows she tried to kill him. Because she assumes if they do come to blows, she'll need to strike first or lose.
What's this about Vincent wanting to erase himself?
