Oh, political moves~ How bold, Raven~. I look forward to seeing where he goes with the guild.
Mm, no one has! What is on Vincent's plate, anyway . . .
★ Three is always at the very top of the list. Right now, he has cut a deal to pass any death of Gilbert's onto himself with part of the quest to be hanging out with Three and going on dates and what not. It's not a bad set-up, and he's going to innocently spend as much time as possible with her, without drawing too much attention.
★ Team is . . . Surprisingly more settled than he expected it to be! He's still sort of sore over Kyouko going, but Hibari fits the bill for what he wanted pretty damn well, so he can work that over really well without putting a whole lot of effort.
★ He's spending a lot of time focusing on Gilbert by giving him love and attention to make up for having a boyfriend . . . Haha, Vincent doesn't want his brother to doubt for a minute that he is not loved the absolute most by Vincent. All of the drama from the game isn't finished up, but his focus is always on keeping Gilbert generally safe and happy, protecting him from all of the no-good, very bad things.
★ Nnnot much is going on in the Yuri situation, surprisingly. They are in stupid dere love, and he is repeatedly drawing the line on how far he will let himself go with it. Yuri has more of the lead in that whole arena with putting Vincent up to family quests, dates, and the like. —Really, Vincent has next to nothing going on, because he was over-active and drawing attention. He has waves of activity, then he sinks into the shadows before starting something else up.
The situation with Raven, and soon to be Tiger's Eye is seems?, is rather low-ball for Vincent and is very general PR work. He can charm people and teams in his sleep, and he knows where he is welcomed and where he is not. The geography for all that has pretty much settled itself a long time ago.
Indulgent question, but that's what I'm here for! What would Raven do to try to warm up to Vincent?
Raven is very capable of political moves! He deals with inter-guild politics all the time back home, really, and is presumably aware of all the stuff going on in the Empire too. He just doesn't like to admit he's any good at it or do it of his own initiative. But he will do it if it's for someone else or if he feels it's necessary. :|b
Anyway. Raven definitely plans to keep talking to Vincent! He might come visit Iolite in general sometime, because he knows pretty much everyone at this point. But he's not really going to try to... like Vincent, particularly. And he's not going to try to win Vincent over, since that is not at all his style. Basically he just wants to a) understand Vincent better, mostly because that's important to understanding Yuri, and b) establish a functional working relationship so he doesn't have to avoid even interacting with Vincent, because that's both stupid and untenable. Goals like "be friends" or "stop being jealous" are a little beyond him at this point. |D He is not that much of a selfless Tales hero.
He is also aware he has a lot of... honesty damage control... to do at the moment, since he's very emotionally vulnerable due to having broken down and yelled all his feelings at Yuri in front of Vincent. So he will probably be staying in full walls-up Raven-persona mode with Vincent as much as he can. LIKE EARLY-GAME RAVEN, being really deliberately obvious and ridiculous about certain things in order to obscure the more important things. :|a
You said that Vincent almost wants to encourage Raven in whatever he's trying to get at with Yuri... What does Vincent think that is, at this point?
