shameless? sure.

Whatever, whatever. I didn't do one last month, and AJ said to. So, question meme for Vincent and CC. That is an awesome color scheme.

Vincent earned some more approval for going along with things even though he wanted the team to go the other direction back there. It seemed very mature of him to facilitate the team reaching a consensus! There is a jaded little voice reminding her that he advocated taking as few points as possible, but mostly Vincent came out of it seeming very mature and a decent guy.

She doesn't realize he sees her as owing him one. She figures Iolite won both the moral side and the memory, so everyone should be happy~

What does Vincent consider a favor, anyway? |D

She remembers! And will be awkwardly changing the subject with anyone who doesn't already know what happened (so far this has only been Mitchell, with said topic change ending in a "gosh Mitchell is currently a dark adonis, how about sex hidden among the sunflowers."). In a way it was a very freeing experience for her, and now that she's back to normal she's kind of ashamed of it.

Re: how everyone handled the situation ... she wishes Neji had picked that time to do something other than quietly sit back and roll with things, but that's something she has thought needed fixing about him to begin with. Back in her normal mindset, Jaina entirely approves of Temeraire's reasoning -- it comes built in with the typical Jedi BS about how after falling to the dark side, she's not really Jaina anymore. (Darth Vader killed your father! It's true...from a certain perspective.) There's a definite vibe to how Vincent went about things that tells her she got petrified because she stepped out of line and Vincent decided to put her in her place. Which...does not sit well with her. Killing Sith Jaina is the right thing, but intent is important to her, and Vincent's part in petrifying her was for all the wrong reasons.

She's a lot more creeped out about Vincent's control on Temeraire. The events of the game have, incidentally, spurred her to finally get a proper weapon for herself -- she remembers taking on countless enemy warriorrs, and multiple genetically designed to kill Jedi...and she's on a team that sometimes tries to kill her. This time it was for a good reason! But the first time was not, and she wouldn't put Kyouko-esque attacks past Hibari, so. The whole thing highlighted that she's not at her full potential. Even if the next attempt on her life doesn't come from a teammate, she knows she needs to get to her full potential in case Jacen ever shows up again (and in canon the drive to defeat Jacen leads to her throwing her boyfriend around with bone-shattering force in training).

Edit addendum: She encouraged Temeraire to carry through with killing her if she goes Sith again in the future because of the fact that she plans on continuing to become more combat capable. What if this happens again, and she does have the ability to choke people with her mind? She finds the prospect chilling.

What are Vincent's thoughts on Sith Jaina? XD
